Job Description
Valon is seeking a GNMA Investor Reporting Analyst to join their Investor Reporting team. This role involves assisting in the day-to-day operations, including daily and monthly reporting and remitting to Ginnie Mae. The analyst will collaborate with management and cross-functional stakeholders to scale processes, create new reporting processes, and identify areas for improvement. Valon is looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines, with an eye for process improvement.

Responsibilities include:
  • Completing daily and monthly reporting for investors within SLA timelines.
  • Performing reconciliation, root cause analysis, and resolution of daily rejects.
  • Reviewing and remitting funds to investors and clients within SLAs.
  • Assisting in the completion of client billing every month.
  • Executing and problem-solving in day-to-day operations for Investor Reporting.
  • Collaborating with other servicing departments to improve cross-departmental tasks.
  • Assisting with audits by providing required documentation or research.
  • Providing feedback on existing processes and process changes.
  • Collaborating with Product Managers and Engineering to implement new products.
  • Scoping upcoming changes from GSEs and determining impacts.

Ideal candidates will have:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in an investor reporting or finance function.
  • Minimum 2 years of GNMA investor reporting experience
  • FHA/VA/RHS Experience
  • Familiarity with large data set analysis in Excel.
  • Experience with SQL preferred.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Finance or accounting degree or 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Must be available to collaborate and communicate in regularly held in-person meetings
