Valon is seeking a Consumer Direct Mortgage Loan Officer to provide loan solutions to existing and prospective customers. This individual will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and achieving strategic goals.
The role involves:
Serving as the primary point of contact for customers.
Recommending tailored loan solutions.
Escalating customer concerns.
Streamlining the pipeline and meeting production targets.
Collecting and analyzing customer documentation.
Collaborating with other team members.
Requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of federal regulations.
Active MLO state licenses in NMLS.
Thorough understanding of the underwriting process.
Strong communication skills.
3+ years of mortgage origination experience.
2+ years of consumer direct mortgage experience.
Experience with relevant technology (DU, LP, Encompass, CRMs).
Ability to obtain and maintain MLO state licenses.
