In this role, the Tax Expert will deliver personalized, full-service tax preparation directly within the financial apps customers already use. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced environments, adapt quickly, and be committed to providing excellent customer service.

The Tax Expert will be responsible for preparing tax returns, providing personalized consultations, and owning the end-to-end client experience. They will also collaborate with peers and leadership to improve workflows and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns and deliver personalized consultations
• Own the end-to-end client experience
• Meet high standards for customer care and service quality
• Solve complex filing situations
• Collaborate with peers and leadership to improve workflows
• Share customer insights and identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

• Active EA or CPA credential and a valid PTIN
• 5+ years of paid individual tax prep experience
• Deep knowledge of preparing moderate to high-complexity returns
• Experience using professional tax software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in a virtual environment with tax clients
• Self-starter mindset
