AI Trainer for Environmental Chemistry (Freelance, Remote)

Job Description

Alignerr, operated by Labelbox, is seeking an AI Trainer for Environmental Chemistry to join their community of subject matter experts. In this freelance, remote role, the individual will be responsible for training AI models by providing feedback on AI-generated outputs related to environmental chemistry. This role will improve the AI’s accuracy in pollution control, atmospheric chemistry, and water treatment processes. He/she will also use expertise to provide step-by-step solutions and explanations for problems involving ecosystem impact, chemical monitoring, and remediation strategies. The AI Trainer will identify potential biases, inaccuracies, or limitations in the AI’s understanding of environmental chemistry.

Responsibilities including:

• Analyze and provide feedback on AI-generated outputs related to environmental chemistry
• Provide step-by-step solutions and explanations for problems involving ecosystem impact, chemical monitoring, and remediation strategies
• Identify potential biases, inaccuracies, or limitations in the AI’s understanding of environmental chemistry
• Design tests that ensure its outputs are robust and applicable to practical applications

Requirements include:

• Enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Native-level proficiency in Environmental Chemistry
• Possess a strong writing style with excellent English-language spelling and grammar skills
• Have a critical eye and the ability to clearly articulate the strengths and weaknesses of written text
• Professional writing experience as a researcher, journalist, technical writer, editor, or similar roles
• Interest in AI and machine learning concepts
