Ogilvy Health is seeking an Account Manager in Toronto, Canada. The Account Manager will be responsible for following the process from project initiation to delivery. They will be a communications professional who is able to handle a broad variety of tasks with increasing independence and sound judgment. The candidate will be a trusted advisor with the ability to build relationships across all of Ogilvy Health’s vast resources and capabilities.
What the role involves:
- Supporting Senior Account Managers and Account Supervisors in managing all the brand's projects.
- Ensuring delivery of high-quality communication products.
- Leading client status and manage day-to-day client relationship on ongoing projects.
- Developing project briefs and coordinate efforts of the projects.
- Reviewing copy decks and artwork vs briefs.
- Proofreading/QA copy decks and layouts as part of internal review.
- Supporting Account leads in managing day-to-day on accounts.
What you'll need:
- 2-3+ years related pharmaceutical/healthcare account management experience.
- Outstanding organization and prioritization abilities.
- Working knowledge of all media (print, TV, radio and digital).
- PAAB and ASC understanding and basic negotiation skills for Canadian Accounts.
- Financial Management abilities - experience in building estimates and managing project profitability.
- Interest in science/health and marketing and a learning attitude.
