Job Description

Solaris is seeking a Senior Engineer Golang to join their team. This role is based in Chennai and focuses on API development and system design within the embedded finance platform.

The Senior Engineer will contribute to the on-time delivery of new features, maintain existing tools, and ensure code quality. They will collaborate with engineers, agile coaches, and product owners, and mentor junior team members. Solaris values personal and professional development.

Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring on-time delivery of new features and services
• Maintaining and evolving the existing landscape of tools
• Delivering quality code in an efficient manner
• Taking end-to-end ownership of our fleet of microservices
• Collaborating with fellow engineers, agile coaches and product owners
• Mentoring more junior teammates

Requirements:

• Proven commercial experience with Go
• 8 years of experience in API development and system design
• Experience with AWS (ideally)
• Understanding of agile workflows and lean principles
• Proactive peer and helps the growth of your team
• Curious, constant learner and share your learnings with others
• Know how to keep a work-life balance
• Communicates well in written and verbal English
