Solaris is seeking a Tax Specialist to manage and optimize tax processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and advise on tax-related matters across its subsidiaries and branches. The Tax Specialist will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to support Solaris' growth and financial strategy.
Your Role Involves:
- Overseeing all tax-related topics within the Solaris Group, with support from external tax consultants.
- Managing tax matters across Solaris, its subsidiaries, and branches, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Developing and implementing robust tax processes to meet various regulatory requirements.
- Providing tax advisory support to business units, particularly regarding the tax treatment of new financial products.
- Serving as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely documentation and compliance.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of tax-related experience in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, HGB, and German Tax Law.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with SAP S4/Hana is a plus.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Self-reliance with a proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to a fast-growing environment.
