Senior IT Internal Auditor (d/f/m) at Solaris

Solaris is seeking a Senior IT Internal Auditor to join their team in Berlin. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape a newly created division and contribute to the overall audit value within Solaris. The Senior IT Internal Auditor will be responsible for independently preparing and conducting IT audits, drafting audit reports, and coordinating with business units. They will also participate in the review and assurance of internal control systems, compliance, security, and efficiency of processes and systems, as well as support internal projects according to MaRisk/BAIT/KWG Act. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in auditing IT requirements and possess strong knowledge of regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Independent preparation and conducting of IT-audits, including drafting of audit reports and coordination with the business units
• Participation in the review and assurance of the internal control system, compliance, security and efficiency of processes and systems
• Independent review of internal and external audit findings as part of the follow up process
• Independent support of internal projects according to MaRisk/BAIT/KWG Act
• Actively participate in the development of the auditing methods

Requirements include:

• 5+ years of experience in the field of auditing IT requirements (MaRisk, BAIT, IT Grundschutz, or ISO 2700X)
• Educational degree, preferably in IT, Cyber Security, Information Security or aany other related fields.
• Experience as an auditor or consultant in auditing techniques, in particular with ToD and ToE
• Good knowledge of fundamental processes especially BCM, incident- and problem management, clouds, outsourcing, software and development processes including testing and approval, authorization management
• Very good knowledge of the regulatory standards
• Ability to work in a team and a high degree of decision-making ability
• Confident and excellent social skills, hands-on mentality, high level of self-motivation
• Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal (German is also a big plus)
