Solaris is seeking a Senior People Operations Manager to align People Experience strategies with business objectives, foster employee engagement, and ensure operational excellence. The role involves strategic oversight, operational execution, and employee-focused initiatives to create a seamless and effective People Experience across the company.

Role involves:

  • Leading efforts to optimize processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and payroll.
  • Developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures in line with labor laws, company standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborating with leadership to enhance the employee experience across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
  • Overseeing the management and optimization of HR systems (e.g. Personio).
  • Fostering an inclusive work environment by supporting our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative.
  • Staying up-to-date with trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations.
  • Industry experience in banking or financial services is a strong advantage.
  • Deep knowledge of German labor laws and best practices in People Operations.
  • Experience in an international, fast-paced environment with a strong understanding of DEI principles.
  • Proficiency in Personio, Excel, and other HR software tools.
  • Fluency in English and German (C1 level).
  • Based in Berlin and able to commute to the office 2–3 days per week.
