Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Trust Automation is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to contribute to the electrical design and development of diverse products and systems, with a focus on motion control applications. The candidate will be responsible for the full product lifecycle, including requirement derivation, conceptual and detailed design, prototyping, testing, and product sustainment. • Electrical/electronic design for Trust Automation products and custom applications.
• Development of advanced motion control and power generation/conversion systems.
• Requirement derivation, schematic and PCB design (Altium).
• Design verification through analysis and test.
• Integration and test of motion control and electrical systems.
• Collaboration with the engineering team to advance drive/motor efficiencies.
• Participation in design reviews and Trust Automation's development processes.
• Contribution to project success by meeting design requirements on schedule and within budget.
• Assistance with project planning, customer interaction, and product demonstrations.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering .
• 10+ years of digital and analog circuit design experience.
• Experience in power electronics design.
• Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium).
• Experience with electric motors, drive electronics, and power conversion circuits.
• Experience with Microcontroller/Microprocessor based systems.
• Experience with circuit simulation tools (i.e. – PSpice).
• Practical experience in PCB and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Control system development (PID preferred).
• Familiarity with communication interfaces/protocols.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
