Job Description
Trust Automation is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to manage the accurate and timely shipment and receipt of materials. The role involves coordinating with various transportation companies and maintaining clear communication with internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth flow of materials while adhering to company standards and providing excellent customer service.Here's what this role involves:
- Processing inbound and outbound shipments using a computerized ERP system.
- Conducting initial product quality inspections.
- Determining the best shipping method based on customer needs.
- Preparing items for shipment according to packaging instructions.
- Arranging carrier pick-up and drop-off.
- Managing shipping documents and compliance.
- Packing, unpacking, and routing materials.
- Pulling parts from stock and verifying accuracy.
- Assisting with periodic and annual cycle counts.
- Monitoring inbound reports for incoming materials.
- Troubleshooting discrepancies and resolving issues.
Requirements for this position include:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associates degree or higher or 5 years of relevant work experience, preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with computer software and data entry.
- Forklift experience (certification can be obtained upon hiring).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
