Data Scientist - Portfolio Risk at Pagaya Israel

Pagaya is seeking a motivated Data Scientist to join their Portfolio Risk Analytics team. The Data Scientist will work on developing risk assessment tools and frameworks for Pagaya's consumer credit platform. The role is located in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and refining tools to assess credit risk.
• Conducting exploratory data analysis on large datasets.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
• Supporting the ongoing monitoring and improvement of existing predictive models.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as Data Science
• Bachelor's degree or MSc- Data Science/ Statistics/ Computer Science
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
• Basic understanding of credit risk fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication abilities to explain complex technical concepts.
