Vice President – Tax

Job Description

Arcesium, a global financial technology firm, is seeking a Vice President of Tax to lead the vision and execution of their Tax Product for the Alternative Investment Industry. This role involves crafting the product vision and driving the roadmap, ensuring alignment with client needs and commercial goals. The VP will have the opportunity to influence flagship client offerings and explore new commercialization avenues.What this role involves:

• Developing and owning the vision and commercial product strategy for the Tax Product.
• Overseeing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
• Proposing, managing, and overseeing the R&D budget for the product portfolio.
• Creating and maintaining a product roadmap.
• Leading and mentoring a team of product managers.
• Collaborating with engineering, test engineering, and client relationship teams.
• Developing and executing an engagement and communication strategy for clients and senior stakeholders.
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activities.

Requirements:

• Approximately 15 years of experience in US Taxation.
• Domain expertise in US Partnership Tax Compliance and Planning for Hedge Funds and PE funds.
• Strong understanding of the Alternative Investment industry and related tax aspects.
• Experience in driving Tax Technology initiatives (advantageous).
• Proven track record of managing complex and cross-functional assignments.
• Strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and leadership track record.
• An outstanding academic background.
• A passion to work in a high-tech software development environment.
