Arcesium is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join its Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be a coder and technology generalist, passionate about providing the foundation and capabilities for application developers. This role involves solving problems with creative, multi-discipline, polyglot, and/or open-source solutions, working independently, and collaborating with the team and stakeholders.
The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will contribute to Arcesium by:
- Engineering the Linux compute platform based on Kubernetes and AWS.
- Engineering Python and Terraform-based tools and automation.
- Building infrastructure applications, writing and reviewing code.
- Troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
- Leveraging design, coding, automation, and implementation skills to solve business and technology problems.
Arcesium requires that the candidate possess:
- 5+ years of relevant infrastructure experience.
- A proven track record of ownership of critical systems and delivery of systems and features.
- Experience operating critical infrastructure systems like Linux, Kubernetes, DNS, Kerberos, and/or AWS IAM.
- Advanced level Python ability and polyglot programming capability.
- Experience with running critical workloads on AWS.
- Ability to balance delivery with correctness and risk management.
- An inquisitive mind and problem-solving skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline.
- A valid work permit to work in the country.
