Vice President – Group Engineering Manager

Job Description

Arcesium is seeking a Vice President - Group Engineering Manager to join their Technology team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled technologist involved in building next-generation software and architecting solutions for new technical and business initiatives.This role involves:

• Managing a team of senior engineers, providing technical guidance and coaching.
• Managing performance and career planning for team members.
• Resource planning, execution, and ensuring software quality.
• Leading the team in building products using cutting-edge technology.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders like Product Management and other Engineering teams.
• Ensuring operational efficiency and participating in organizational initiatives.

The successful candidate will need:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 13+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of Java (or other JVM languages) or Python.
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases.
• Exposure to cloud service providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience delivering products with low/no touch support and SRE principles.
• Experience leading a team of engineers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Exceptional communication skills.
