Vice President – Group Engineering Manager (Return to India)

Job Description

Arcesium is seeking a Vice President – Group Engineering Manager to join their Technology team. This role involves building complex next-generation software and architecting solutions for new technical and business initiatives. The candidate will manage a team of senior engineers, providing technical guidance and coaching. They will be responsible for resource planning, execution, and software quality. The role requires close collaboration with Product Management and other Engineering teams to drive business strategies.

• Managing a group of highly skilled senior engineers.
• Resource planning, execution, and quality assurance.
• Building sophisticated products using cutting-edge technology.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Ensuring operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 13+ years of experience.
• Deep understanding in one of programming languages - Java (or other JVM languages), Python.
• Experience with relational or non-relational Database technologies.
• Exposure to any of the prominent cloud service providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience and knowledge of delivering products with low/no touch support along with SRE principles.
• Experience leading a team of highly skilled engineers.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects and engagements concurrently.
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
• Experience in FinTech is a bonus.
