Windows Desktop Specialist Manager

Job Description

Arcesium is seeking a Windows Desktop Specialist Manager to join its Corporate Technology team. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise desktop solutions, ensuring seamless integration with Windows-based environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in endpoint management, security, and virtualization, while also providing leadership and guidance to the desktop support team. He/She will drive innovation, improve system performance, and ensure alignment with industry best practices.

• Leading the design and implementation of enterprise desktop solutions.
• Developing and enforcing best practices for desktop management and endpoint security.
• Providing mentorship to the desktop engineering team.
• Overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Windows-based desktop environments.
• Managing enterprise-wide endpoint solutions, including Microsoft Intune.
• Implementing and managing Zero Trust security solutions such as Zscaler and CrowdStrike.

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in desktop engineering, support, or IT infrastructure roles, and 2-3 years’ experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, and virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Intune and other modern device management tools.
• Familiarity with zero trust solutions like Zscaler & CrowdStrike, and infrastructure management applications like ManageEngine.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11) deployment, imaging, and configuration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
