Business Information Security Officer (BISO) at Spin Careers

Spin is seeking a Business Information Security Officer (BISO) with experience in the Fintech sector in Mexico. The BISO will be responsible for ensuring the security of the company's information assets and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

The role involves:

• Implementing and maintaining a security management framework.
• Managing IT risks using frameworks like ISO 27005 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Conducting internal and external security audits.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

• University degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields.
• Previous experience as a BISO, CISO, Manager, or Head of Area.
• Practical knowledge of regulations and standards applicable to the Fintech sector in Mexico, such as the Fintech Law (Mexico), CNBV (National Banking and Securities Commission) and its provisions.
• Knowledge of risk methodologies, their identification, evaluation, and mitigation.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCISO (desirable).
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, and DLP.
