Job Description

Spin is seeking a Gerente de Monitoreo y Respuesta to manage cybersecurity threats and ensure business continuity. The role involves evaluating the performance of the ecosystem, analyzing results, and supporting the execution of work plans. This position requires providing business advice, proposing ideas, and ensuring coordination with the D@F ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating and classifying detected threats.
• Implementing mechanisms for detecting and responding to incidents.
• Coordinating responses to IT incidents.
• Informing stakeholders about incidents, threats, and actions taken.
• Communicating monitoring results and security actions.
• Conducting periodic evaluations of monitoring and incident response processes.
• Collaborating with IT and audit teams to identify vulnerabilities.
• Developing metrics and dashboards for security assessment.
• Proposing and implementing risk mitigation measures.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of security solutions.
• Participating in the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity frameworks.

Requirements:

• University degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Experience in SOC, incident response, and monitoring.
• Leadership experience in incident response teams.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards applicable to the fintech sector in Mexico (Ley Fintech, CNBV, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
• Skills in IT risk management (ISO 27005, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, COBIT).
• Knowledge in network and system protection, incident detection and response, vulnerability analysis.
• Ability to implement compliance controls and processes.
• Experience in internal and external security audits.
• Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, DLP.
• Leadership skills for coordinating teams.
• Effective communication skills.
• Analytical thinking.
• Project management experience.
• Adaptability to changes in regulations or technology.
