Job Description

SILMC - SERVICIOS INTEGRADOS DE LEALTAD, MERCADOTECNIA Y COMUNICACIÓN, S.A.P.I. DE C.V. is seeking a Principal Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex architectures. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are innovative, scalable, and secure. This role involves mentoring staff engineers and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within an autonomous work culture.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Developing and maintaining strategic enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Working with senior leadership to create the company technology strategy.
• Designing, developing, and implementing scalable, maintainable software architectures.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to staff engineers.
• Operating within an agile culture and implementing chapters practice.
• Collaborating with senior business stakeholders to translate strategic needs into technical solutions.
• Driving innovation in architecture and engineering practices.
• Ensuring systems are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Leading efforts to ensure solutions comply with security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation.
• Implementing and overseeing quality assurance processes.
• Conducting training sessions on new technologies and best practices.

The requirements for this role are:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience in designing, coding and implementing scalable cloud native base architectures.
• Expertise in Database Management (SQL / NoSQL) system performance optimization.
• Experience with Frontend technologies for web and mobile applications.
• Experience with Automation testing and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, and security protocols.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and chapters practice.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
• Understanding of network protocols, security practices, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers and other technical architects.
• Strong project management skills.
