(Junior) Food Regulatory Manager (gn) at The Quality Group

The Quality Group is seeking a (Junior) Food Regulatory Manager to join their Food Regulatory Team. This role is crucial for ensuring product compliance within the EU. The position is initially limited to one year.

Role Involves:

• Testing products for marketability in the EU.
• Reviewing product descriptions and advertising texts for compliance with food law.
• Collaborating with Product Management, R&D, Business Development, Marketing, and Customer Support on food law issues during product conception, development, and launch preparation.
• Tracking changes in food law and initiating appropriate measures for the affected areas.
• Handling official complaints.

Requirements:

• A degree in food chemistry, technology, pharmacy, or a similar field.
• Ideally, initial professional experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably in the food industry or a related field (e.g., pharmaceuticals, food supplements).
• Sound knowledge of relevant national and international regulations, guidelines, and ordinances in the field of food and food supplements.
• Very good knowledge in the evaluation of product specifications and labels as well as basic knowledge of food raw materials.
• Ability to communicate and work in a team.
• An independent and structured way of working.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
• Very good MS Office skills.
