CAR-T Operations Expert

Legend Biotech is seeking a CAR-T Operations Expert to join their team in Ghent, Belgium. The successful candidate will be a specialist in CAR-T production, contributing to the well-being of patients through innovative cell therapy projects. This role requires a detail-oriented, enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude.This is what role involves:

• Performing and overseeing CAR-T process activities such as component preparation, CAR-T processing, filling and finishing, and cryopreservation.
• Ensuring compliance with cGMP and GDP standards and maintaining GMP documentation.
• Managing daily production planning and supporting production surveys.
• Creating and reviewing operational procedures, including work instructions, master batch records, and forms.
• Collaborating with various teams to streamline and optimize processes and participating in Lean & Operational Excellence projects.
• Training and coaching junior colleagues.
• Supporting the testing and implementation of software for production output systems such as eLiMS, MES, and SAP.

Requirements include:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in sciences, (bio)engineering, biotechnology, pharmacy, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of operational experience within a cGMP or ATMP environment with aseptic techniques in clean rooms.
• Fluency in Dutch or English with strong communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of cGMP regulations and cell culture techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
