Verification Test Engineer at Morse Micro

Morse Micro is seeking a Verification Test Engineer to join their team in Sydney, Australia. This role involves revolutionizing the world of wireless communications by pushing the boundaries of wireless technology. The candidate will be responsible for developing apparatus and procedures to test RF modules and application products.

• Developing apparatus and procedures to test RF modules
• Installation and commissioning of test jigs, computer, and other measurement equipment
• Establishing and monitoring performance and safety standards
• Designing and developing signal and data processing algorithms
• Troubleshooting RF and communication problems and propose design changes
• Developing Python tests to verify system requirements
• Designing device verification tests to check the performance of microchips
• Day-to-day management of the Morse Micro electronics
• Analysing large dataset to determine yield
• Reporting and documentation responsibilities

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following:

• Expert micro-soldering skills
• Bachelors’ Degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or similar degree
• Master of electronic test and measurement equipment
• Ability to gather and interpret specifications for construction/modification of electronics
• Expert communicator and active listener
• Highly organised individual with a passion for keeping an outstanding laboratory environment
• Can do attitude and resolve to complete high quality work in time constrained situations
