Business Analyst at Morse Micro

Morse Micro is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between technical teams and business objectives. The Business Analyst will drive data-driven decisions, analyze funding opportunities, and support operations, legal, and funding teams.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, translating them into actionable insights and strategies.
• Supporting the rollout and management of Objectives and Key Results across the organization.
• Creating and analyzing business cases to support key decisions.
• Analyzing current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements.
• Supporting the development of automated tools and workflows to optimize business operations.
• Working closely with R&D teams, finance, legal, and funding/grants teams to support the preparation of lodgment of funding and grants applications.
• Ensuring projects are aligned with company OKRs, budgets, and timelines.
• Tracking and reporting project progress, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Collecting and analyzing data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Preparing dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
• Monitoring trends and providing forecasts to anticipate business needs and opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or Technology.
• 3+ years of experience in technology, management, data analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and propose actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Googlesheets) and familiarity with project management software.
• Some experience with programming languages or tools (e.g., SQL, Python) for data manipulation and analysis.
• ‘Can do’ startup attitude, being able to step in to support projects and activities when required and being comfortable and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in the tech or semiconductor industry is a plus.
