Grants and Funding Specialist at Morse Micro

Morse Micro is seeking a Grants and Funding Specialist to manage all aspects of grants and funding opportunities. The ideal candidate will secure crucial government funding for Morse Micro as the company scales up.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, submit, and manage applications for the R&D Tax Incentive and grants.
• Ensure grant applications meet eligibility criteria and adhere to deadlines.
• Collaborate with teams to gather necessary documentation and data.
• Maintain accurate records for all grants and funding programs.
• Prepare and submit progress and final reports for grant-funded projects.
• Conduct audits of R&D activities and expenses.
• Research and identify new grant and funding opportunities.
• Monitor changes in government policies, funding initiatives, and industry trends.
• Work closely with the R&D, finance, and legal teams.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including funding bodies, auditors, and consultants.
• Develop and refine internal processes for grant applications and compliance.
• Create templates and guidelines to streamline documentation and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in grants management, R&D Tax Incentive applications, or a similar role.
• Proven track record of securing government grants and funding.
• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements for grants and R&D incentives in Australia.
• Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
