Morse Micro is seeking a Grants and Funding Specialist to manage all aspects of grants and funding opportunities. The ideal candidate will secure crucial government funding for Morse Micro as the company scales up.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, submit, and manage applications for the R&D Tax Incentive and grants.
- Ensure grant applications meet eligibility criteria and adhere to deadlines.
- Collaborate with teams to gather necessary documentation and data.
- Maintain accurate records for all grants and funding programs.
- Prepare and submit progress and final reports for grant-funded projects.
- Conduct audits of R&D activities and expenses.
- Research and identify new grant and funding opportunities.
- Monitor changes in government policies, funding initiatives, and industry trends.
- Work closely with the R&D, finance, and legal teams.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including funding bodies, auditors, and consultants.
- Develop and refine internal processes for grant applications and compliance.
- Create templates and guidelines to streamline documentation and reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in grants management, R&D Tax Incentive applications, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of securing government grants and funding.
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements for grants and R&D incentives in Australia.
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
