Sr Data Analyst

Job Description

Altera Digital Health is seeking a Sr Data Analyst to analyze large-scale data sets, discover trends, and identify optimization opportunities. The role involves designing and developing enterprise-wide data analysis and reporting solutions and fulfilling ad hoc reporting requests.Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence systems to identify and document complex data mappings (ETL), relations, business rules, as well as functional and non-functional requirements.
• Gathering reporting and analysis requirements and translating them into data models.
• Providing analytical support to various departments within the organization.
• Analyzing and resolving data quality problems.
• Recommending methods to improve data quality and effectiveness of data systems.
• Acting as the primary point of contact and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Working closely with Legal, Compliance, and Security/Privacy teams to ensure healthcare data protection and quality.
• Supporting the Development Team and sales processes.
• Defining and developing dashboards/reports and ad hoc queries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience, with 2-3 years at the Expert level or equivalent.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, SSIS, SSRS, XML, PowerShell, Google Charts, and JavaScript.
• Profound knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence systems.
• In-depth understanding of ETL processes.
• Strong foundation in statistical and analytical methods.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
