Accessit Data Migration Technical Specialist at Follett Software, LLC

Follett Software is seeking a skilled Accessit Data Migration Technical Specialist to join their Customer Experience team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new customers of Accessit Library.

The Data Migration Technical Specialist will work closely with librarians and internal technical and training teams to manage the migration of data from legacy systems to Accessit Library. This involves project management, data analysis, and providing solutions for data cleanup. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.

This is an in-office position located in Wellington, New Zealand.

• Liaising with new customers to project manage their onboarding to Accessit Library.
• Organizing and scheduling timeframes for training, installation, and data migration.
• Maintaining communication with customers and providing assistance as needed.
• Consulting with customers to gather information and ensure a positive migration outcome.
• Managing and executing data migration using internal tools and processes.
• Providing solutions for cleaning up migrated customer data.
• Communicating data migration outcomes to customers and trainers.
• Representing the company professionally.
• Attending team meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Library and Information studies, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Foundational knowledge in programming languages eg: Java, Python, C++
• Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to analyse and interpret data results to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to identify data patterns
• A methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and software.
• Experience working in a collaborative environment
• Proficient PC and technical/software skills.
