Follett Software is seeking a Senior Director of International Sales to lead its sales efforts outside North America. This role involves managing a global team of Sales Representatives and driving sales and demand generation growth strategies.Follett Software empowers educators across roles with technology that streamlines processes and manages information and resources to improve their schools, increase student success, and drive the future of education.
Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales professionals.
- Develop and implement sales and market strategies.
- Identify and build key strategic relationships and partnerships.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work collaboratively with other departments.
- Develop and implement training programs.
Requirements: - 6+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally within EdTech.
- Strong track record of overachieving targets in high-growth business across global markets.
- In-depth understanding of education segment decision-making structure and processes.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead teams.
- Exceptional people and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred).
- Ability to accurately forecast sales.
