Senior Applied Scientist at Fresco

Fresco is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to join their Core AI Team. Fresco's goal is to simplify cooking so everyone can enjoy more mealtimes at home. The company is bringing appliances, recipes, and multiple brands together into one platform, KitchenOS.

The Senior Applied Scientist will be responsible for proposing and developing machine learning models for Connected Cooking and Recipe Generation, Adaptation, and Understanding. The role involves developing data products for Fresco’s partners and customers, ensuring data quality, and creating ground truth datasets.

Role involves:

• Proposing and developing machine learning models.
• Working as a member of the Core AI Team.
• Developing products for partners and customers.
• Ensuring data quality.
• Creating ground truth datasets.

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge in machine learning / deep learning libraries and frameworks.
• Experience with Large Language Models and Transformer-based model architectures.
• Best practices for model design, training, evaluation, and tuning.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance bias to action with quality of work.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, AWS services.
• 3+ years delivering real-world consumer facing machine learning products and services.
• Solid foundation in statistics and machine learning / deep learning.
