HiveMQ is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their Engineering Platform Team, which supports the company's operations by providing platform services. This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency of HiveMQ’s product development and cloud applications development.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with Product Development and Cloud teams to understand their needs.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to drive innovation.
  • Automate the delivery and deployment of products and systems.
  • Design, develop, and maintain platform tools and infrastructure.
  • Provide training and support to product teams.
  • Measure and report on platform performance.
  • Live a culture of teamwork, quality, growth.

Requirements:
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Experience in operating and automating engineering focused systems.
  • Ability to solve problems independently.
  • Good understanding of agile software engineering using Kanban.
  • Experience in networking technologies.
  • Experience operating Cloud products/services.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, and IaC tools.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • High standards on building platform and infrastructure setups with automation.
  • Experience in CI/CD systems, preferably Jenkins and/or ArgoCD.
  • Experience in build automation software preferably Gradle.
  • Experience with metrics and monitoring solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Mimir (or similar).
