Global Accounting Associate

Job Description

Cabify is seeking a Global Accounting Associate to join their Finance team. This role is based in Madrid and is exclusively for candidates with a disability certificate of 33% or higher, as per Spanish law. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and accounting for bank accounts, verifying bank transactions, and preparing related financial reports.

The Global Accounting Associate will also support suppliers and clients by efficiently addressing inquiries and resolving payment and billing issues. They will assist in preparing documentation for audits and collaborate with other finance and accounting teams. Cabify offers flexibility, a positive work environment, and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and accounting for bank accounts
• Registering and reconciling bank accounts for various companies
• Verifying bank transactions and preparing related financial reports
• Supporting suppliers and clients
• Handling payment and billing issues
• Assisting in audit documentation preparation
• Collaborating with other teams
• Identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency

Requirements:

• University degree in Business Administration, Law, Economics, or related field
• Good written and communication skills in both Spanish and English
• Organized, proactive, and communicative team player with problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with accounting management systems and ERPs (such as SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Google Sheets
