Wakam, a B2B2C insurance company, is seeking a Risk Manager intern to join their team in Paris. Wakam designs custom insurance solutions distributed through its Play&Plug® platform. With a presence in 32 countries and a turnover of over 920 million euros in 2023, Wakam is a European leader in digital and embedded insurance. The Risk team identifies, assesses, and manages risks to ensure financial stability and regulatory compliance.

The role involves:

  • Participating in the Risk team's daily activities.
  • Contributing to S2 closing activities (SCR assessment and solvency ratio).
  • Assisting with ORSA (internal risk and solvency assessment).
  • Working on risk appetite (regular monitoring of risk indicators).
  • Conducting ad hoc risk studies.

Requirements:

  • Curious, autonomous, and agile.
  • Excellent command of French and English (oral and written).
  • Student in actuarial science, mathematics, or applied statistics to insurance.
  • Knowledge of the Solvency 2 regulatory environment is a plus.
