Gestionnaire Sinistres Corporels (CDD 6 mois) - Remote (France) at Wakam

Wakam is seeking a Claims Handler to join their Claims Squad on a 6-month contract. The role is fully remote within France. Wakam is a B2B2C insurance company that designs custom insurance solutions distributed in white label by over 80 distribution partners through its Play&Plug® technology platform. The Claims Handler will independently manage bodily injury claims, including IRCA and common law cases (AIPP between 0 and 10%).

Role Involves:

• Recording claims
• Investigating claims (reviewing guarantees, analyzing liabilities, implementing protective measures)
• Identifying and applying relevant legal, jurisprudential, and conventional rules
• Assessing and monitoring technical costs
• Selecting experts and analyzing conclusions
• Finalizing compensation to victims and/or third-party payers
• Exercising bodily injury recourse in the best interests of the company

Requirements:

• Higher education in Insurance Law or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in handling bodily injury claims (AIPP between 0 and 10%)
• Good knowledge of the Badinter Law and its jurisprudential evolution
• Mastery of IRSA, IRCA, and PAOS conventions
• Excellent writing skills, organizational skills, and rigor
• Autonomy and responsibility
• Analytical and synthesis skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic and scaling company
• Proficiency in English is a plus
