Job Description

Cabify is seeking an Android Engineer to join their Product & Engineering teams. Cabify aims to improve mobility for people, connecting riders to drivers. The company has over 20 million users across 8 countries and 90 cities. The Android Engineer will implement new functionalities, tackle complex problems, deliver a world-class experience to customers, work closely with other teams, test app functionalities, and maintain mobile apps.

Role Involves:

  • Implementing new functionalities to improve Cabify.
  • Tackling complex problems related to asynchronicity and data flows.
  • Delivering a robust and user-friendly app experience.
  • Collaborating with Design, Research, Data Science, and Backend teams.
  • Testing app functionalities and troubleshooting issues.
  • Maintaining mobile apps and deploying new features.

Ideal Candidate Should Have:

  • Great alignment with Cabify's principles.
  • 4+ years of Android experience.
  • Experience with Git and REST APIs.
  • Ability to write unit and UI tests.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience with RxKotlin or any other Reactive technology.
