Cabify is seeking an Android Engineer to join their Product & Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will help to improve mobility for people living in cities. This role can be performed remotely or in a hybrid model from their Madrid office. The Android Engineer will implement new functionalities, tackle complex problems, and deliver a world-class user experience. The candidate will work closely with various teams, test app functionalities, and maintain mobile apps.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement new functionalities
  • Tackle complex problems
  • Deliver robust and user-friendly app experience
  • Collaborate with Design, Research, Data Science, or Backend teams
  • Test app functionalities and troubleshoot
  • Maintain mobile apps and assist in deploying new features

Requirements:

  • Alignment with Cabify's principles
  • 4+ years of Android experience
  • Experience with Git and REST API
  • Ability to write unit and UI tests
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Design
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience with RxKotlin or Reactive technology (bonus)
  • Experience with Kotlin, SOLID principles, and clean architecture (bonus)
