The Director of Engineering will oversee the development of FirstPrinciples' AI-driven research platform, integrating advanced NLP, symbolic reasoning, theorem proving, and machine learning models into a cohesive system. This leader will manage a team of engineers, ensuring the building of high-performance and scalable software systems. The Director of Engineering will align engineering efforts with business and scientific objectives, helping FirstPrinciples evolve into a foundational tool for global scientific advancement.Responsibilities include:

• Defining and driving the technical vision and strategy.
• Leading architecture design for a scalable system.
• Overseeing infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud-based solutions.
• Driving development of FirstPrinciples AI.
• Integrating symbolic reasoning, NLP models, and research intelligence analytics.
• Leading and scaling a world-class engineering team.

Qualifications include:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
