LATAM Senior Software Engineer (React/Node) at Praxent

Praxent is seeking a LATAM Senior Software Engineer (React/Node) to join their team. Praxent is a company that helps clients modernize outdated customer-facing software applications. The role is categorized as remote, with team members potentially located in Mexico or El Salvador. This role involves enhancing the team's capacity to deliver assigned stories, cultivating camaraderie, delivering value through feature development, increasing velocity by documenting plans and mentoring junior developers, guiding development as a technical SME, demonstrating expertise through technical and sprint demos, and expanding frameworks.Role involves:

• Ensuring the team understands acceptance criteria
• Tracking daily progress
• Delivering stories as assigned
• Finding opportunities to increase capacity and velocity

Requirements:

• Demonstrable proficiency with building user interfaces, data-driven REST APIs, or administering databases/cloud/servers
• 5-8 years of professional experience in relevant technology and projects
• Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, with TypeScript
• Experience building scalable server-side applications using Node.js
• Client leadership experience
• Mentorship experience
