Cabify is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Developer Experience team. This role involves creating tools, systems, and processes to empower developers to build amazing products. The ideal candidate will enhance CI/CD pipelines, improve documentation, and design intuitive internal tools to make developers' interactions with the infrastructure seamless and productive.

The Software Engineer will work with platform technologies, primarily using Go, Bash, and Node.js. This person will transform complex developer workflows into streamlined, efficient, and reliable processes, enhancing operational excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the team to design and develop tools and platforms.
  • Enhancing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
  • Driving platform improvements using Kubernetes and other CNCF technologies.
  • Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Addressing issues at the host and infrastructure levels.
  • Fostering a culture of quality through peer reviews and on-call best practices.
  • Mentoring junior engineers.
  • Collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful features.

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in platform engineering and developer tooling.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitOps principles.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and the broader CNCF landscape.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and GitOps tools (ArgoCD).
  • Proficiency in Go, Bash, or Node.js.
  • Experience building scalable, distributed systems.
  • Alignment with engineering best practices.
  • Self-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
