Job Description
Cabify is seeking a Software Engineer - DevX to join their Developer Experience team. This role focuses on creating tools, systems, and processes that empower developers to work efficiently and effectively. The engineer will work to improve CI/CD pipelines, enhance documentation, and design intuitive internal tools. Cabify aims to create a seamless and productive environment for its developers, allowing them to focus on building great software.

The role involves:
  • Collaborating with the team to design and develop tools and platforms.
  • Enhancing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
  • Driving platform improvements using Kubernetes and other CNCF technologies.
  • Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Addressing issues at the host and infrastructure levels.
  • Fostering a culture of quality through peer reviews and monitoring.
  • Mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements:
  • A strong interest in platform engineering and developer tooling.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitOps principles.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and the broader CNCF landscape.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab, and GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Bash, or Node.js.
  • Experience in building scalable, distributed systems and working with production environments.
  • Alignment with engineering best practices.
  • A self-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
