Job Description
Winton, a research-based investment management company, is seeking a Business Development professional to join its China Client Solutions team in Shanghai. This role is focused on driving AUM and new revenue opportunities with clients in Mainland China and Hong Kong. The successful candidate will execute sales and client service strategies, build relationships, and promote Winton's brand.
Responsibilities:
- Increase regional AUM by building sales strategies.
- Plan roadshows and events, including meetings with clients.
- Support business relationships and serve as a point of contact.
- Identify opportunities to promote Winton’s brand.
- Represent the company at industry conferences.
- Implement client service, including timely responses to inquiries.
Requirements:
- At least eight years of sales experience in investment management.
- Experience targeting bank wealth, institutions, and distribution channels.
- Proven business development case.
- Exceptional communication skills in Mandarin and English.
- Presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of quantitative investment strategies.
- Strong academic record; postgraduate degree and/or CFA a plus.
- Ability to travel regularly.
- Ability to sell complex investment strategies to sophisticated investors.
- Ability to work collaboratively across the business units.
