Vertice is seeking a Procurement Director to lead its procurement service and transform customers' SaaS buying and renewals. The successful candidate will build trust and action plans with strategic customers, working with finance and procurement executives. This role requires an exceptional leader with an owner’s mindset.
Role involves:
- Developing and communicating a global procurement vision and strategy.
- Setting and tracking team performance against regional procurement goals.
- Inspiring and developing a high-performance procurement team.
- Developing personalized procurement strategies for major accounts.
- Coaching teams to identify high-impact procurement opportunities.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to improve customer journey satisfaction.
- Developing specific procurement playbooks to keep consistency at scale.
- Developing and executing strategic sourcing plans and negotiating complex SaaS deals.
- Managing key SaaS partner relationships.
- Implementing sourcing strategies, balancing innovation and best practices.
- Leading cross-functional teams to implement effective SRM strategies.
Requirements:
- Language skills desirable: Spanish, French, German, or Italian.
- Professional background in Strategic Sourcing, Project Management, Procurement, Vendor Management, or a related discipline in Consulting.
- Strong understanding of the SaaS business model and knowledge of the ecosystem.
- Passionate about customer service.
- Clear, confident, and compelling communicator.
- Superb listening skills.
- Expert project manager skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct compelling presentations to senior customer stakeholders.
