Vertice, a company specializing in SaaS and cloud spend management, is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to optimize SaaS procurement for its EMEA customers. This role involves developing strategic sourcing plans, negotiating with SaaS vendors, and managing supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cost savings and maximizing value for customers.

The Senior Procurement Manager will work closely with the Procurement and Customer Success teams to deliver commercial strategies and negotiate SaaS purchases and renewals.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing Vertice’s service delivery into a portfolio of accounts.
  • Negotiating SaaS deals for a range of customers.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers through collaboration with account management and sales teams.
  • Developing software commercial category strategies jointly with customers.
  • Working with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders to understand their requirements and technology strategy.

Requirements:

  • Native or fluent in French.
  • Clear, confident, and compelling communication skills.
  • Ability to provide strategic insight to customers.
  • Negotiation expertise with in-depth knowledge of SaaS vendor strategies.
  • Creative thinking to challenge customers and suppliers.
  • Expertise in project management of commercial processes.
  • 6-8 years of commercial experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or procurement consulting.
  • Category experience in technology (including SaaS) is highly preferred.
