AI/ML Engineer

Job Description

Vertice is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join their team in Brno, Czechia. Vertice is experiencing rapid growth and offers a collaborative and transparent work environment. The AI/ML Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models that drive business value from Vertice's data. They will collaborate with product managers and engineers to identify opportunities for applying AI/ML techniques to solve complex problems.

Role Involves:

• Designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models.
• Working with product managers and engineers to identify AI/ML opportunities.
• Applying expertise in large-scale text processing, NLP, and LLMs.
• Building solutions that unlock new insights and drive business growth.

Requirements:

• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code in Python.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries like NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, HuggingFace.
• Understanding of neural networks, deep learning, fine-tuning, and their applications.
• Experience implementing end-to-end machine learning solutions with a focus on data quality.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications in natural language processing.
• Experience working with document-based data (e.g., PDFs) and ability to design and implement solutions for text-based problems.
• Fluency in Czech/Slovak and English.
• Availability to meet in the Brno office at least 2 days a week.
