Vertice is seeking a Manager for Private Equity Business Development in APAC, based in Sydney. The role involves partnering with private equity firms to reduce their portfolio companies' software spend. The Private Equity BD channel is the fastest-growing channel in the business, and the person will join an existing team of three.
Responsibilities:
- Identify private equity firms.
- Develop and build strong relationships with value creation teams at these PE firms, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Run monthly/quarterly business reviews.
- Attend industry events and conferences to represent Vertice.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing and Sales to improve the Vertice for Private Equity offering.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience working with PE firms.
- Experience in business development, account management, partnerships, or a similar role.
- Ability to build rapport, influence people and drive change.
- Expert people person and your superpower is building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Results-driven, organized, and reliable.
