Fashion Nova is seeking a Director of Buying/Merchandising to lead the dresses category. This role is based in Beverly Hills, CA, and requires an experienced professional with a strong background in fashion buying and product development.Fashion Nova is a leading trend-to-market fashion and lifestyle brand known for its high-growth across Women, Men, Kids, and Beauty divisions.Responsibilities:

• Drive Assortment Strategy
• Trend Forecasting
• Cost Negotiation & Margin Optimization
• Financial Management
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Data-Driven Decisions
• Lead weekly open-to-buy meetings
• Train, develop, and mentor the buying team
• Develop and maintain a profitable and productive partnership with vendors

Requirements:

• BFA or BA in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field preferred
• 15+ years of Apparel Buying/Merchandising experience
• Minimum of 5 years Buying leadership experience
• Experience with product development preferred
• Ability to adapt to constant change
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Keen eye for design, trends and color
