Senior Buyer - Activewear

Job Description

Fashion Nova is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their team in Beverly Hills, CA. The Senior Buyer will report to the Division/Category Director and will be responsible for developing the product mix based on rising trends and manage the team's established assortment strategies. The role is essential to ensuring Fashion Nova has the best product offerings for its customers.

Role Involves:

• Driving assortment strategy.
• Trend forecasting through market research and analysis.
• Negotiating costs and optimizing margins.
• Managing financial aspects like sales performance and budgets.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Making data-driven decisions using sales data and customer feedback.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Buying for apparel, ideally within an eCommerce fashion brand - previous experience buying for activewear/sport categories is ideal
• Strong understanding of fashion trends.
• Experience working with vendors and negotiating product quality, costs, and delivery dates with vendors
• Excellent prioritization, project management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Production, Design or related field, or equivalent work experience
• English, additional language(s) an advantage
