Assistant Buyer - Women's

Job Description

Fashion Nova is seeking an Assistant Buyer to join their Women's team. The Assistant Buyer will contribute to Fashion Nova's innovation and style, ensuring customers have access to current trends. The Assistant Buyer supports the Buying teams in data analysis and market trend assessment. The Assistant Buyer owns assigned categories to reorder top-selling product at optimal cost and quality.

Role involves:

• Maintaining vendor relationships for optimal deliveries at the best cost and quality
• Communicating with vendors on item availability, stock units, incoming stock, and custom cut dates
• Presenting recommendations to Planning for approval
• Keying purchase orders into the system and uploading orders
• Analyzing and forecasting product performance and inventory levels
• Recommending promotional activity
• Staying abreast of industry fashion market trends and emerging best practices

Requirements:

• More than one year of experience in Replenishment, Data Analysis, or a similar field
• Experience analyzing data and providing actionable insights
• Proficiency in Excel with complex functions
• Passion for fashion and trend analysis
• BA|BS degree or equivalent working experience in financial analysis or similar role
• English, additional language(s) an advantage
