Assistant Technical Designer

Job Description

Fashion Nova, a leading fashion and lifestyle brand, is seeking an Assistant Technical Designer to join their Fit Team. This role supports the team throughout the sample lifecycle, balancing large product volumes with fit consistency.Responsibilities include:

• Selecting block templates and setting up POMs.
• Measuring samples accurately and entering data.
• Preparing samples for fit sessions.
• Taking fit session notes and recapping them.
• Inserting model images and initializing fit comments.
• Assisting with alterations and troubleshooting fit issues.
• Measuring fit models and participating in model castings.
• Managing samples and participating in monthly purges.
• Measuring TOP samples and approving them in NetSuite.

Requirements include:

• Minimum two years of experience in Technical Design.
• Intermediate understanding of G-Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use a tape measure and measure samples accurately.
• Knowledge of fabrics and pattern-making.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to manage large sample volumes.
