Job Description
Fashion Nova is seeking a Senior Production Coordinator to leverage their product development and process expertise to expedite the fashion product lifecycle. This role acts as a crucial link between various departments, including design, sales, buying, merchandising, technical design, planning, sourcing, and factories.Fashion Nova needs someone to ensure accurate, complete, and professional communication, emphasizing urgency, to facilitate the development of high-quality, timely, and cost-efficient products that align with Fashion Nova's industry-leading position.
Responsibilities: - Oversee daily activities of fashion production management.
- Ensure product is manufactured on time for delivery.
- Coordinate and problem-solve issues with internal teams, vendors, and factories.
- Assist in new collection sampling and supervise day-to-day activities related to aesthetic and design.
- Analyze and plan for sufficient capacity for upcoming season orders.
- Initiate daily production meetings to review production status.
- Verify production statuses to ensure timely on-time deliveries.
- Coordinate with the merchandising team to ensure all materials are ready.
- Responsible for material use calculations, stock monitoring, and ordering.
- Update and maintain PO changes in the ordering system.
Requirements: - Three years’ experience in production, merchandising, development, or a manufacturing product environment, preferably in the fashion/garment industry.
- Work experience directly related to the management of people and sourcing and costing process is desired.
- Intermediate level understanding of G-Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent time-management and organization skills to consistently meet deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in garment and fabric construction is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
- Adeptness to organize, prioritize, and pivot workload in a dynamic environment.
- Capacity for working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Competence for executing independent decisions.
- AA degree in Fashion is highly desired.
