Technical Designer - Nova Sport

Job Description

Fashion Nova is seeking a Technical Designer to join their team in Beverly Hills, CA. The Technical Designer will be responsible for measuring samples, checking construction quality, and communicating fit issues. They will lead fit sessions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain timely email correspondence with vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Measure samples and prepare them for fittings.
• Check construction and quality of product.
• Communicate fit and balance issues.
• Execute fit comments in a timely manner.
• Lead fit session on live model and dress form.
• Work closely with cross-functioning teams.
• Maintain professional and timely email correspondence with domestic & oversea vendors

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Designer in the apparel industry.
• Strong understanding of apparel design and development process.
• Proficient in fit, pattern making, grading, construction methods, and technical drawing.
• Experience in leading live fittings.
• Knowledge of junior market and Fashion Nova product categories.
• Proficient computer skills, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office.
