Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Fashion Nova is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its growing engineering team. The role involves building and evolving technology platforms to support the company's expansion. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with product teams to enhance the eCommerce experience and develop data-rich tools.Responsibilities:

• Develop new software based on requirements.
• Participate in sprint processes (planning, grooming, retrospectives).
• High-level sizing of tasks.
• Assume ownership of developed work.
• Communicate with management and colleagues.
• Train new team members and support existing team members.
• Recommend software improvements.
• Develop and maintain unit tests.
• Provide third-level emergency support.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Development.
• Proficiency in Javascript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience implementing web services with REST and Web API.
• Knowledge of T-SQL language and engines.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of relational databases.
• Experience with Single-Page Application Architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• BA|BS degree or equivalent work experience.
