Job Description

BTIG is looking for a Vice President to join their Equity Capital Markets group, specifically within the Corporate, Private Equity, and Venture coverage unit. This role is based in either the San Francisco or New York office.

The candidate will support and expand BTIG coverage efforts by executing existing business and helping to acquire new clients.

Role Involves:

• Supporting operational functions (onboarding, trade allocations, settlement, and reporting).
• Assisting clients with onboarding, wiring of proceeds, share delivery, and coordinating restrictive legend opinions.
• Assisting with business development and improving service to existing clients.
• Developing sophisticated liquidation strategies.
• Developing, reviewing, and managing 10b5-1 plans.
• Keeping clients informed on trading dynamics and liquidity opportunities.
• Communicating with clients and the trading desk on client orders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Knowledge of equity trading, capital markets transactions, and restricted settlement (beneficial but not required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Bloomberg terminal knowledge (a plus).
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and series 63 preferred (required within 6 months); Series 79 beneficial.
